Rev. Betty Wright Riggins is a graduate of Oasis Ministry for Contemplative Spiritual Direction and has a certification from the Green Lake Coaching Center. Rev. Wright Riggins is ordained in the American Baptist Churches USA and teaches as an adjunct professor at Palmer Theological Seminary where her courses focus on spiritual direction and formation, the practice and theology of prayer and dealing with grief and loss.  Betty has been married for over thirty years to the Rev. Dr. Aidsand F. Wright Riggins. When she is not leading a retreat, speaking at a conference or teaching, Betty is happily raising their beloved granddaughter Nyla Jean Stokes.


Dr. Jennifer Davidson is Associate Professor of Worship & Theology at American Baptist Seminary of the West and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. She received her PhD in Liturgical Studies and Systematic & Philosophical Theology from the GTU, an MDiv from Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a BA in English and Secondary Education from Eastern University in St Davids, Pennsylvania. Jennifer serves on the Commission for Baptist Worship & Spirituality of the Baptist World Alliance, and chairs the Task Force for Emerging Theologians for American Baptist Churches, USA. Jennifer brings a deep and abiding interest in "lived spirituality", seeking to cultivate attentiveness to God’s presence and leading in everyday life. Jennifer is married to Doug Davidson. They have one adult son.



The creative soul of an artist, writer and traveler guides Karin Patton as as she navigates through her joy-filled life. A former elementary teacher and entrepreneur, she has guided many individuals, both young and old, as an education and family life consultant, advocate and contemplative art trainer. Discovering her artistic side as an adult has given her a deep understanding of how to use creatvity as a tool to developing deeper levels of spirituality and mindfulness in daily life.





A classical guitarist, an ordained American Baptist minister, and an adjunct seminary professor, Brad Berglund works ecumenically leading retreats and pilgrimage experiences around the world. The author of two best-selling books on the topic of worship renewal, Reinventing Sunday and Reinventing Worship, Brad is an internationally recognized worship designer and leader.
